Experience unique Finnish wildlife in an easy way. We can find trees, swamps, small hills, bird sounds - and of course the unique silence of nature! Nuuksi National Park is located quite near Helsinki. You will have a safe private transport with a 8-seat van from your hotel or airport and personal guide with you all the time in the forest. We will have an easy hike in the forest, and get an experience how we Finns spend our time off-duty.

During autumn, we can pick up mushrooms and prepare food of them beside the fire. On dry summer time there aren't mushrooms in the forest, but we can have delicious mushroom soup at Salmi Cafe, prepared by Miia, the Lady of the House.

This tour is fully customizable according to your requests.

We can start from Helsinki and drive to Nuuksio National Park (40km) and hike into the wilderness from Vaakkoi camp house, owned by Helsingin Latu society.
After the hike we continue to Salmi outdoor area, to have some mushroom soup.
