On this walking tour we will stroll around Suomenlinna, looking for the historical layers visible in the fortress. We will visit historical places and see magnificient view to the Gulf of Finland. We will begin at your hotel and have a short ferry ride from Helsinki Market Square. The distance to walk in the fortress will be approximately 3-4 kilometers. During the tour you will see the historical sites of the fortress, beginning from the time when Finland was part of Sweden, through the 110 years time being part of Russia until the time of Finland's independence, trying to connect the history of the site to the world history.
Tour price includes tour services and ferry tickets to and from Suomenlinna.
We can also visit the local museum, and spend some time at the local movie theater, that shows a historical information movie. The museum ticket 8,0 € is not included in the tour price. Our tour lasts approximately 4 hours including the ferry trip.
